It started with Tracktuned

In 2024, I made a decision that changed everything. I moved my automotive engineering blog, Tracktuned, from WordPress to Ghost®.

Tracktuned covers K-swap MX5 builds, ZF 8HP transmissions, and track-focused car builds. Technical guides, build diaries, honest reviews. Ghost® was the perfect fit for this kind of content.

Ghost® is beautiful. It's fast. It's focused on what matters: writing and connecting with readers. No bloat, no confusion, just a clean platform that lets you create. I fell in love with it immediately.

But something was missing

My readers kept asking the same question: "Where can I buy performance parts?"

I looked at the options. Shopify wanted me to run a completely separate store. WooCommerce meant going back to WordPress. Gumroad and Lemon Squeezy felt disconnected from my brand.

Every solution I found was either:

• Overcomplicated - Dashboards with 47 menu items when I just wanted to sell a few products
• Overpriced - Monthly fees that assumed I was running a Fortune 500 company
• Disconnected - Separate domains, separate logins, separate everything

I just wanted a simple way to sell products on my Ghost® blog. That's it. Why was this so hard?

So I built Mytho

I'm a developer. So I did what developers do when they can't find a solution: I built my own.

My requirements were simple:

• Works directly on my Ghost® site, no separate store
• Takes 5 minutes to set up, not 5 hours
• Accepts payments through Stripe because it just works
• Looks like it belongs on my site, not like a widget from 2005
• Does exactly what I need and nothing I don't

After months of building, testing, and refining, Mytho was born.

E-commerce without the nonsense

Here's what I believe: selling online shouldn't require an MBA.

You shouldn't need to watch 12 YouTube tutorials to add a product. You shouldn't need to hire a developer to change a button colour. You shouldn't need a separate subscription for every basic feature.

Mytho is the e-commerce platform I wish existed when I started. It's simple because it only does what you actually need. It's affordable because I'm not trying to extract maximum value from every customer. It's focused because I use it myself every day.
